When I recieved this product it was kind of bigger than I expected it to be - the sockets are quite large and heavy and the wire is very floppy so this does cause it to droop a bit as other reviewers have mentioned. However, you could hardly call this a major problem, and it really doesn't bother me, although if you like me are buying it for your iPod nano or similarly tiny mp3 player, you might not like the fact that it's almost as big. It is very useful because two people can listen to the same mp3 player each having THEIR OWN headphones, instead of having just one earphone each. This is a useful invention, and it doesn't cost very much, so all in all i recommend it.

Does what it says on the box

When I got the splitter I was very happy with it.It is a bit bigger than I thought it would be.The main reason I bought it was to use it for a portable DVD player so that two people could listen to it in the car (without distracting the driver) but now I also use it alot with my iPod.Well worth the money.

Best headphone splitter ever!

yeah, they're OK, the quality of sound sent to both outputs is very good, but then I'm on an old soundblaster, so who knows how it would cope with a bit more firepower. As described elsewhere, its quite chunky, so more suited to a PC environment than, say, two people sharing an iPod.
