This three-piece multimedia speaker system is designed for consumers who want true high-fidelity sound but do not require or have the space for a multi-speaker surround setup.
The GMX A-2.1 system delivers dynamic sound from any audio source, including laptops, iPods, PCs, CD, DVD and MP3 players, game consoles, laptops, television sets and VCRs. By combining high-performance audio, visual appeal and functionality, the A-2.1 is an ideal audio solution for today's multimedia and gaming entertainment devices.
The two-identical magnetically shielded satellite speakers with two-way design have 3-inch woofers and Klipsch's exclusive MicroTractrix horns. For display purposes the satellites have ball joint pedestal mounts that allow them to be aimed securely in almost any direction with just a twist of the hand.
The powerful subwoofer has a 75-watt amplifier, which can be adjusted with the control pod.
The control pod with two stereo inputs: one dual RCA, one 1/8" minijack, headphone output, power button, and master volume control.
Mids and his are clear and sharp, basses are a bit blunt and 'rumbly', but in overall these speakers sound great when properly tuned, especially while played lauder.
Would give them 5 stars, if only for the annoying hum from the woofer that I couldn't get rid of, as much as I tried. It is mostly hidden by the sound of the PC fans, but I have to unplug speakers when I want silence (like, to sleep). If I knew of this problem before, I might have bought some other ones.
Excellent except for the subwoofer hum

Just bought the system and I am more than happy. It gives ultra clear bass and amazing sound quality. They won't make the floor shake but will definately give you an elecctrifying sensation. Only negative point probably would be the size but the funky speakers make you overlook that. Completely worth the price.
Unmatched bass quality
