Although this product does not come with any instructions on how to set up, it is rather obvious. Takes about 20 seconds for the fan to reach full speed, and after that the effects, if you are monitoring the laptop's temperature sensors, can be seen as immediate. A drawback would be the stand. The stand does not have a locking-in-place feature and also may be uncomfortable in you lap, but when choosing between that and an overheating laptop I'd choose this. A very good product, and I recommend it for all sufferers of overheating laptops. I also recommend it to everyone else, as it seems we have having a rather lovely summer right now.
