Right, this was a present for my mum for her new laptop , i looked long and hard for n ideal case that was secure with what she uses it for and where. also had to think about the accessories to place inside the case, would they all fit ? well thats what i was here to find out today. although you get a snazzy printed black mini mouse pad inside the hide away compartment I had bought one that had usb connections and glowed in the dark and that fitted in just where the paper would go. bought a glow in the dark mouse which comes with the mouse pad and that went into a long pocket which has a lip on it with 2 Velcro tabs , i also placed the laptop light which came in a handy small plastic container... this also went inside that pocket. How ever this is where things started to get a bit scarce, I also bought a high security cable and the only place to have that was loose ontop of the pockets but lays behind the "door" of which is the lip to the accessories section. I wouldn't call the laptop case "hard body" as its only feels hard when items are inside of the shell, which lead me to think that its not hard at all and made me wonder how safe the items inside would be, yes there is the sponge sections of which are the slappa logo which could provide protection but i doubt a lot, you are provided with 2 locks im guessing ...well i placed 1 for the accessories section and the other to secure the 2 zips ( the 2 zips come together providing a neat locking movement for any lock to get into). You are also provied with what i can only assume as being a mobile phone or mp3 holder , which has a Velcro lid on it and a metal clip on the back...again the body to this item is in no way hard body and is infact less safe than if you sat on your mobile /mp3 item in your back pocket, But this leads me to ask where the heck do you place such a thing, you wouldn't place it on the outside of the laptop carrying case, well i guess you would but not if you actually took pride over your items not being nicked.the carrying case which in case's the laptop case itself looks and feels pretty dull, mind you this is a design from a couple of years ago where people said it was ahead of its time and was in fashion... i guess lie they say when something is todays black when it was today grey. This holder when placing the bag is a tight fit to start with but as soon as you get it past the initial lip corners it slots in, and i presume this is the main secure keep in place physics in play...well it would have to be wouldn't it, the carrying case doesn't have anything else to keep it secure. Which then leads me to how this item is carried and protected from the weather. You have a holdall strap which holds within itself several clasps which are fiddly even for me and im a big chap with big hands and my mums 5ft8 and suffers with her joints etc, they state that the clasps are spread for ease of use, yet when i tried this out its was very awkward and wasn't easy at all, it should have really have been a slide option because otherwise the user needs to adjust the strap through he hook down the bottom to even get the clasps to the correct level and even then like i said the clasps are not exactly the easiest of things to operate. You can how ever if you more of a suitcase business type that holds the items by its one handle on the case itself , yet i get the feel that they didnt think about people my size or the way the handle is molded into rather than out of the case effects the way the fist of the person would act, I say this because the handle has been molded so that the handle is dipped into the case therefore reducing space of the hand of the user and i would say after some time giving the user frustration especially with big hands, but i would also state that you could only handle the bag a specific way round because of this design fault, and you also have the zips with the lock which would also get in the way. However if they had allowed the handle to produce more length i would say this problem would have been avoided. The handle of the case is well made and feels good...would ti still feel good if it had been rained on...will the material start to fade like a piece of rubber or steering wheel after age therefore creating discomfort to the user.
Overall at the moment and for a "first" case i can not see many issues yet only improvements for future models and for the stylish few maybe even students will have friends wanting to have a look at what they have., especially since the whole item even with the added items so far is a pretty light item which is a must especially when you are about to add a laptop into the equation.
First ever laptop bag...will it be the last ??

If you ever had the urge to wrap up a fragile item in a ridiculous amount of the softest toilet roll you find in your home, then wrap it in newspaper followed by a double layer of bubble wrapping, put that in a cardboard box and do the same all over again?
This Bag does exactly that without any compensation *or time wasted in doing so*. Although I don't own one myself, I've seen enough thrown around *literally* to be convinced that once you get a laptop bag like this, you won't see anymore money leaving your wallet for another brand.
Oh. and this is around £10 cheaper than the official site, definately worth it.
I won't be far off
